Society
A membership organization with
the mission of protecting and preserving the historic resources
important to the heritage of Blowing Rock. Chartered in 1985,

the year. Advocacy for preservation awareness in the community

Blowing Rock Visitors
Center
The Blowing Rock Visitor Center is a non-profit facility that acts as an information clearing house for visitors to the area, residents, local business owners and others involved in the tourism industry. Located conveniently at 7738 Valley Boulevard (US 321 Bypass), the Visitor Center is accessible for local traffic as well as those traveling through the area. The building houses the Tourism Development Authority, the Chamber of Commerce and the Blowing Rock Arts and History Museum (BRAHM) offices to provide the visitor with the ultimate assistance in visitor inquiries, relocation information and the arts. Residents and visitors alike are encouraged to stopover; Visitor Center Information Specialists are friendly and always up to date on events and happenings, attractions, accommodations, restaurants and anything else that may be in the wind.

This is the new performing arts building being built and will be up in the future for the public to view the arts. The Blowing Rock Community Arts Center has a new name. It will now be called the
Mariam and Robert Hayes Performing Arts Center.
The new name was revealed to the public at the Center's official groundbreaking which took place at the construction site on Highway 321 in Blowing Rock on Sunday, July 10.

Blowing Rock School is an elementary
school with kindergarten through eighth grade. The current enrollment
is 520 with approximately 65 staff members. Our school is located
on Morris Street in the heart of the village. Our students consistently

Excellence." Students also excel in athletics and arts
