Technical Support Analyst
ECRS seeks applicants for the position of PC Software & Hardware Support Technician on its Help Desk.

Job Summary
ECRS develops and implements a full range of award-winning retail automation technologies that power many of the world's top retail enterprises. The ECRS Support & Deployment Group is looking for a Customer Service/Support Analyst to remotely support users of our software & hardware applications. The ECRS Help Desk is dedicated to meeting the expectations of over 10,000 external customers from within a high-paced call center environment. This is a full-time position offering a competitive base salary with additional compensation and advancement opportunities.

Responsibilities
This position requires documenting, dispatching, and dealing with a broad range of potential technical issues and problems - some critical; understanding online tools provided for monitoring of critical retail systems and metrics; providing identification, prioritization, and resolution of problems; and creating issue tickets in a corporate web-based database.
Requirements
The following knowledge or experience is required:
  • Strong understanding of a retail environment & operations
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Sound familiarity of Windows XP and Linux operating systems
  • Working knowledge and understanding of LAN/WAN networks
  • Strong telephone and personal communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work in a mostly fast-paced, changing environment
  • Technical aptitude and an openness for ongoing learning
  • Professional attitude, team player, and strong work ethic
  • Problem determination and troubleshooting skills
  • Self-motivated/career oriented
  • 2+ years experience with help desk procedures, customer service, retail operations, and a 4-year degree in a computer-related field is a plus.
