Linda Gilleland, owner of Greystone Insurance Associates, recently completed a three-day Commercial Casualty insurance institute in Scottsdale, Arizona. The classes were presented by The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research’s Society of Certified Insurance Counselors (CIC), and hosted by the Independent Agents & Brokers of Arizona.
Topics addressed during the institute include legal liability, commercial general liability, business automobile coverage, workers compensation, and commercial umbrella coverage. “The great thing about CIC institutes is they provide information that is beyond the basics,” notes Gilleland. “We have in-depth discussions about recent claims, coverage considerations, and other matters facing insureds across the country and in our own backyards.”
