After purchasing one of Blowing Rock’s most popular gift shops, the new owners have added their special touch, and the public and Food and Wine Festival patrons can get their first look at the “new” Pleasant Papers this weekend.
Marianne and Bill Hall purchased the stationary/gift shop in 2007 and within months began an extensive remodeling campaign. That work was completed last week, in time for the Festival.
“We worked hard and are proud of what we have at Pleasant Papers now,” said Bill Hall on Monday. “Now we’re anxious for our customers and new friends to come in and give us their opinion.”
The newly renovated store at Shoppes on Main Street, features cards, invitations, stationary, on-site printing and an expanded line of giftware.
