Highlands Blowing Rock and the Blowing Rock Chamber of Commerce invite you to attend a grand opening ceremony on Monday, April 7th at 5:30pm. Located downtown at 1128 South Main Street, Blowing Rock’s newest “upscale casual,” dining experience features contemporary American fare and a full wine list. Owners Powell Glidewell, Mary Kelley Glidewell, Linda Braswell, Camille Vetro, and Chef Michael Vetro, Jr., have made Highlands Blowing Rock a destination for good food and live music in a family friendly, non-smoking environment. Everyone at Highlands is excited to be in Blowing Rock and they are ready to become involved members of the community. They are already participating in the Blue Ridge Food and Wine Festival and will be part of the 2008 Celebrity Serve benefiting the High Country Soccer Association. Monday’s ribbon cutting ceremony will feature complementary hors d’ oeuvres, a sparkling wine and cider toast.
