Parks & Rec. Welcomes Youngsters To “Hop Down The Bunny Trail” At March 8th Egg Hunt
Blowing Rock Parks and Recreation Department, with help from a group of Appalachian State University Recreation Management students, will host their annual Easter Egg Hunt and Festival on March 8, from 9:30 until 11:30 a.m
The event will begin at the Parks and Recreation Center on Park Avenue adjacent to the Tennis Courts in Memorial Park. The festival will begin with games and activities at 9:30 a.m. and will be followed by the Easter egg hunts, one for each age level.
The festival will include games, activities, a coloring contest, prizes, candy and a visit from the Easter Bunny.
“The Blowing Rock Easter Egg Hunt and Festival provide a great opportunity to spend a day outside and make great memories with the ones you love,” said Assistant Parks and Rec Director Amy Flieg. “The festival is open to all who wish to attend, and will be taking place rain or shine.” Parents are reminded to bring along their own child’s basket.
