Susan Sweet is the new president of the Blowing Rock Woman’s Club, elected to that honor at the February meeting of the organization.
Also elected were Ann Rhyne - Vice President, Irene Greene - Secretary, Lisha Deal - Corresponding Secretary, and Carolyn Alley as Treasurer.
The strong civic club that serves special needs of youth and adults in the Blowing Rock area meets the first Tuesday of each month, and an open invitation is extended to anyone wishing to become a member.
Meetings are usually held at a local restaurants, with an announcement for the upcoming meeting being announced either at the conclusion of the current meeting, or announced to members and friends once a decision is made.
