Mrs. Bolick

Selma Lee Foster Bolick, 73, of Cape Carteret, N.C., died Thursday, January 17, 2008, at Carteret General Hospital.
Mrs. Bolick was born February 14, 1934, in Blowing Rock, NC to the late James Randall Foster, Sr. and the late, Selma Robbins Foster.
Despite leaving Blowing Rock a number of years ago, Mrs. Bolick continued her long friendship and contact with her hometown, visiting both family and friends frequently.
She is survived by three daughters, Mary Lee Cuthrell, and husband, D. Wayne Cuthrell, of Morehead City, Selena Kaye Bolick of Morehead City, and Cindy Bolick Hudson and husband, James C. Hudson of Vass, N.C; one brother James “Sonny” Foster of Cape Carteret, N.C.; two grandchildren, D. Douglas Cuthrell of Bridgeton, N.C. and Pamela M. Cuthrell of Raleigh, N.C.; and her beloved companion, Cass.
Funeral service were held on Saturday, January 19, at Brooks Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Claude Andrews officiating.
Interment ceremonies will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Blowing Rock, N.C. on Friday, January 25th with the Rev. Robert F. “Pug” Greene officiating. The service will begin at 1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to Atlantic Beach Volunteer Fire Department, P. O. Box 10, Atlantic Beach, NC 28512.
