Garden Club Resumes Seasonal Meetings On Wednesday, May 2nd

After a winter of dreaming about gardens and reading up on planting alternatives and the latest gardening techniques, members and friends of the Blowing Rock Garden Club will resume their series of monthly meeting on Wednesday, May 2nd at noon.
The meeting will be held at the assembly room at Rumple Memorial Presbyterian Church on South Main Street.
The first meeting of the Garden Club Board will be at 10:30 a.m., an hour and a half prior to the regular meeting.
The Horticulture Committee will have its first workday of the season in the Garden on Thursday, May 3 at 9:30 a.m. Workdays are scheduled for the first and third Thursday of every month, May through September.
The new officers of the Garden Club were installed last September and include Marcia Quinn President, Teresa Caine - Vice President, , Patti Robinson - Treasurer, and Lynn Thompson - Secretary.
