Blowing Rock Hospital Initiates Free Community Education Program To Address Health Topics
Do you have loved ones that live alone? Do you Fear for their safety? How are their needs now compared to what they were 5 years ago? Are you prepared for this change? Don’t know what step to take?
If you have these concerns, Blowing Rock Hospital is having a Free Community Education Program that will answer all of these questions.
Blowing Rock Hospital is proud to present the Community Education Program
Beginning April 26 of 2007, there will be a series of speakers at Blowing Rock Hospital educating on a health topic of interest for everyone in the community to attend. An average of two speakers a month will present for about an hour.
The programs will be held in the Multipurpose Room of Blowing Rock Hospital at 1:00 pm and 5:30 pm. If you are a caregiver of an adult, you may bring your loved one for the 1:00 slot only. The Adult Day Health Care staff will provide respite care for your loved one(s) while you attend the event. Call Jennifer Bretz at 828-295-5276 and let her know if you will be requiring respite care.
Attending these informative monthly programs will give you the opportunity to become more versed in several health related issues. You will meet other individuals in the community and become more aware of health services that are offered. Don’t miss out on this opportunity.
“As a healthcare provider, we at Blowing Rock Hospital believe that it is important to empower the public through a better understanding of the health issues they face. Through education and bringing people together with similar circumstances and interests we can improve lives,” says Community Liaison Officer, Jennifer Bretz.
