Mitford Days Tickets Go On Sale March 16

The Blowing Rock Chamber of Commerce announces that tickets for two of the highly-sought-after Mitford Days events will be offered for sale next week. Mitford Days in Blowing Rock, a tribute to author Jan Karon, is slated for September 12-16.

Blowing Rock School Kindergarten Orientation Dates Set For May 7-8

Kindergarten orientation for children starting kindergarten in August, 2007 will be held at each of the Watauga County Schools in April and May. For Blowing Rock School, the Kindergarten orientation opportunity for parents and students has been scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, May 7th and 8th.
Children who will be five years old on or before October 16th will be registered for kindergarten during the orientation.
