Rocking Chair From High Country Writers Presented To Blowing Rock Community Library In Loving Memory Of Writer/Poet Juanita Tobin

The High Country Writers Group made a very special gift to the Community Library in honor and memory of the late writer/poet Juanita Tobin. The ceremony at the Library last Wednesday saw the presentation of a beautiful rocking chair bearing a brass plaque honoring Juanita for her many years of sharing wonderful thoughts and observations in creative verse, not only with the High Country Writers Group, but fans all over Western North Carolina as a newspaper columnist and book author. The prized rocking chair will be a permanent tribute to Mrs. Tobin and her contribution to the art of words.
