Former Skyland Books Reopening Under New Ownership
Virginia D. Jones and Page W. Parsons have recently opened Tucker’s on Main, Inc. in Blowing Rock’s Martin House Courtyard and invite the community to its Grand Opening this weekend during Blowing Rock’s Winterfest festival.

2007 Theatre Season Will Be Truly One To Remember
The Blowing Rock Stage Company has announced its schedule of shows for 2007, it’s largest and longest season in the company’s history. This will also be the first complete season produced at the new Mariam & Robert Hayes Performing Arts Center, the Stage Company’s home since last August. The 2007 Season features nine productions, including five musicals, two world premieres.

Southern Living Magazine Honors Blowing Rock With 2006 Readers’ Choice - Favored Destination Award
Southern Living readers by the thousands recently cast their ballots in the magazine’s 2006 Readers’ Choice Awards, responding to the magazine’s request to pick their favorite places in the South. Blowing Rock was voted a Favorite Mountain Destination; only Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge and Asheville garnered more votes.
