Advent Walk Is On Sunday,
December 3rd Starting At 2

Blowing Rock’s traditional Advent Walk will be held on Sunday, December 3rd, the first day of Advent. The walk will begin at 2 p.m. at Rumple Memorial Presbyterian Church on South Main Street.
The Advent Walk has become a tradition for many, and a great way to start off the holiday season.
Walkers will gather at Rumple Memorial at 2 p.m. and following a brief Advent serve there will proceed across the street to St. Mary of the Hills Episcopal Church, singing carols along the way.
After a brief service at St. Mary’s walkers will proceed caroling along Main Street and down Sunset Drive to the final service and refreshments at First Baptist Church.
In the event of extremely bad weather, the walk and church services will not be held.

Coordinating the Advent Walk again this year is Tacky Vosburgh and Linda Liesegang.
The Advent Walk, which has grown in participation each year it has been held, is open to people of all denominations and everyone is invited to participate.
