The Blowing Rock Community Arts Center Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeff Clark to the position of Executive Director.
Clark comes to Blowing Rock from the Kansas City Repertory Theatre in Kansas City, Missouri where he was the Associate Artistic Director for Production for the past three years. Prior to his working in Kansas City, Clark served as the Production Manager for the Huntington Theatre Company in Boston for seven years and Trinity Repertory Company in Providence for five years.
Other career highlights include six years of touring North America with The Acting Company and the management of five Broadway shows including three August Wilson premieres. He has also taught and advised on theatre management at Boston University and at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for the board, for Blowing Rock and for me to create a Community Arts Center that is truly a center for all of the community and the region to participate in and enjoy. We have one opportunity to do this right and my job is to make sure we create a first class facility that provides wonderful programming and superior patron services. I look forward to working with everyone in the community to make this happen." Clark is a native of Henderson, North Carolina in Vance County. He completed his undergraduate degree in theatre at Western Carolina University and did his graduate studies at the University of Tennessee. He will be joined in Blowing Rock by family members, Diane, and his only child "Beeps," a Jack Russell Terrier.
